With six completed screenplays, nine projects in development, and a private vault of original concepts, the independent studio is building beyond the limits of a single story.
In an industry where a single successful project can define a career, Studio Valdivieso is taking a broader approach: building a body of original film and television work designed to stand on its own creative merits.
Founded by screenwriter Eric Valdivieso, the independent studio has assembled six completed screenplays spanning feature films, scripted television, and adult animation. Nine additional properties are in development, supported by a private vault of original concepts reserved for future exploration.
The completed slate includes Little Angel, Service, Alphabet City, Amygdala, Deal With It, and Business-Man. Each explores a different world, but all emerge from a consistent creative perspective: character-driven stories rooted in grit, grace, and transformation.
For Valdivieso, the objective is not simply to create a collection of unrelated projects. It is to establish a recognizable body of work through which audiences encounter different characters, circumstances, and moral conflicts, yet discover a common understanding of the human experience.
"A single story can introduce a writer," says Valdivieso. "A body of work reveals who that writer is."
The studio's development strategy reflects that distinction. Completed scripts demonstrate execution. Projects in development provide continuity. The private concept vault preserves possibilities for future storytelling.
Together, they represent an independent creative operation built around original material rather than dependence on any one project's outcome.
Studio Valdivieso is exploring relationships with executives and producers who recognize the value of developing a writer's body of work over any single project.
